Day 1: Arrival and Journey to Lake Sandoval Reserve

Day 2: Exploring the Palm Tree Clay Lick and Primary Forest
Visit the palm tree clay lick at dawn to see macaws and parrots feeding. Afterward, enjoy a canoe ride on Lake Sandoval and a hike through the primary rainforest to observe towering trees and diverse wildlife. End the day with a night walk to discover nocturnal creatures.
Day 3: Wildlife Encounters and Jungle Adventures
Start the day with a boat ride to see giant river otters and birds. Explore a scenic lookout for stunning views of the lake, relax in hammocks, or try fishing. Capture a sunset photo before a final night walk in the jungle.
Day 4: Return to Puerto Maldonado

Day 1: Arrival and Jungle Exploration
Upon arrival in Puerto Maldonado, you will be transferred to the lodge, where you can rest and enjoy a tropical juice. You will then take a two-hour guided hike through the jungle, observing flora and fauna, such as toucans and monkeys. After lunch, you will visit the “Monkey Island”, home to various species. As night falls, you will take an excursion to spot alligators on the Madre de Dios River.
Day 2: Sandoval Lake and Return
After an early breakfast, you will travel by boat and hike through the jungle to reach Sandoval Lake. There, you will explore the lake by canoe, observing birds, monkeys and possible giant otters. At midday, you will return to the lodge for lunch and then head back to Puerto Maldonado.
