Day 1: Arrival in Puerto Maldonado – Monkey Island – Jungle Walk
Upon arrival in Puerto Maldonado, our team will warmly welcome you at the airport or bus station.
After a brief orientation, embark on a scenic motorboat journey along the majestic Madre de Dios River.
Along the way, spot native wildlife — capybaras, turtles, vibrant birds, and iguanas.
Our first stop: the renowned Monkey Island, home to three species of monkeys thriving in their lush habitat.
At the ecolodge, enjoy a refreshing tropical welcome drink before settling into your private room.
Later, join a guided jungle walk to uncover ancient trees, medicinal plants, and the fascinating creatures of the forest.

Day 2: Sandoval Lake Exploration – Amazon Wildlife Encounters
After a hearty breakfast, we set out for the Sandoval Lake Reserve checkpoint.
A 3-kilometer trek through dense rainforest leads us to the breathtaking Sandoval Lake.
Board a canoe to explore this pristine, mirror-like ecosystem, home to giant river otters, black caimans, and a dazzling array of tropical birds.
Enjoy a picnic-style lunch by the lake, followed by more wildlife spotting.
Return to the lodge for a hearty Amazonian dinner — and another chance for an optional nighttime jungle exploration.
Day 3: Piranha Fishing – Canopy Walk – Zip Line Adventure
Begin the day with a nature walk focusing on the rainforest’s medicinal plants and hidden wonders.
Then, head to the Gamitana River for an exhilarating piranha fishing experience.
After lunch at the ecolodge, get ready for even more adrenaline:
Canopy Walk: Traverse hanging bridges high above the jungle floor.
Zip Line: Fly 30 meters above the forest for a thrilling bird’s-eye view!
In the evening, you may opt for one more night walk to dive deeper into the rainforest’s nocturnal secrets.
Day 4: Return to Puerto Maldonado
After breakfast, we’ll bid farewell to the Amazon rainforest and return by motorboat to Puerto Maldonado.
At our office, you’ll collect your belongings, and we’ll provide a transfer to the airport or bus terminal, marking the end of your incredible Amazon adventure.
