Reaching Sandoval Lake Lodge is an adventure in itself : Your journey begins with a scenic motorized boat ride along the Madre de Dios River. Upon arriving at the entrance to Tambopata National Reserve, you’ll enjoy a guided 3-
kilometer walk through lush secondary rainforest. The final stage is a peaceful canoe ride through a narrow channel lined with majestic Mauritia palm trees, leading you to the tranquil shores of the spectacular Sandoval Lake.
