Day 1: Arrival & First Contact with the Jungle
Arrival in Puerto Maldonado and transfer to the port to begin navigation along the Madre de Dios River. Along the way, you may spot birds, turtles, and other wildlife.
Entrance into the reserve followed by a जंगल walk to reach the lodge.

Day 1: The trip to Peruvian Amazon Puerto Maldonado – Lake Sandoval – Jungle Immersion –
Your experience begins in Puerto Maldonado, the gateway to the Amazon. After pickup from the airport or bus station, your specialized guide will provide a short briefing before starting the adventure.
You’ll navigate along the majestic Madre de Dios River, where your first wildlife encounters begin: tropical birds, turtles, capybaras, and possibly caimans basking in the sun.
A special stop at Monkey Island allows you to observe different species in their natural habitat. Then, you’ll enter the reserve and hike approximately 3 km through lush rainforest.
