Day 1: Arrival and Journey to Lake Sandoval Reserve

From there, a boat ride across the Madre de Dios River awaits. This 45-minute tranquil journey offers the chance to spot a variety of wildlife, including herons, jacanas, ducks, and even caimans sunbathing on sandbanks.

Day 2: Lake Sandoval Peru -Exploring the Palm Tree Clay Lick and Primary Forest

Rise early for a unique experience at the palm tree clay lick. At dawn, we’ll head out to witness colorful macaws and parrots feeding on the nutrient-rich clay and fruits, a breathtaking scene you won’t soon forget.

After this, we’ll return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast before embarking on an exciting canoe ride around Lake Sandoval. Glide through the calm waters as we spot wildlife like white herons, monkeys, turtles, and possibly even a puma.

After lunch, enjoy an afternoon hike through the primary rainforest, marveling at towering mahogany and cedar trees, and discovering the rich biodiversity of the jungle.
