Day 1 – Arrival & Monkey Island Night Walk .
Arrive in Puerto Maldonado and travel by boat to the jungle lodge. Visit Monkey Island to observe monkeys in their natural habitat, then enjoy a guided rainforest walk. Optional night walk to discover nocturnal wildlife. (Lunch, Dinner)
Day 2 – Explorer to Sandoval Lake Reserve .
Explore the Tambopata National Reserve with a hike to the beautiful Sandoval Lake. Enjoy a canoe ride while spotting giant river otters, monkeys, black caimans, turtles, and tropical birds. Return to the lodge for an optional night walk. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 3 – Discover to Adventure Tour – Canopy walk – Zipline – Hiking Amazon
Walk through the rainforest to discover giant trees and medicinal plants. Experience the canopy walkway, zipline above the jungle, and try traditional Amazon fishing for piranhas and catfish. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 4 – Amazon Trip peru – Kayaking & Cultural Experience .
Visit a local Indigenous community to learn about Amazon traditions and crafts. In the afternoon, enjoy kayaking on the Madre de Dios River and end the day with a night caiman-spotting excursion. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 5 – Return to Puerto Maldonado Traslado al Aeropuerto .

Experience an Unforgettable Adventure in the Peruvian Amazon
Immerse yourself for five days in the lush nature of the Peruvian Amazon and discover its spectacular landscapes, wildlife, and local culture.
Navigate along the Amazonian rivers, explore Sandoval Lake, walk among centuries-old trees, cross suspended bridges high above the rainforest, enjoy an exciting zipline adventure, and learn about traditional Amazonian fishing techniques.
You will also have the opportunity to visit a parrot clay lick, where hundreds of birds gather to feed on mineral-rich clay, and share experiences with a local community to learn firsthand about their traditions and way of life.
Day 1 – Arrival in Puerto Maldonado & Jungle Adventure
Upon arrival in Puerto Maldonado, we will meet you and transfer you to the port to begin our boat journey along the Madre de Dios River to the lodge.
After settling in and enjoying lunch, we will begin our first Amazonian experience with a visit to Monkey Island, where we will take a walk through the forest to observe different species of monkeys and learn more about the area’s incredible biodiversity.
In the late afternoon, we will return to the lodge.
At night: Optional night walk to discover the wildlife that becomes active after sunset and listen to the sounds of the rainforest.
Overnight at the lodge.
Day 2 – Sandoval Lake & Wildlife
After breakfast, we will depart for the Tambopata National Reserve to enjoy one of the highlights of the program: Sandoval Lake.
After a walk through the rainforest, we will board a canoe to explore the lake and observe the extraordinary biodiversity of this unique ecosystem.
Depending on weather conditions and wildlife activity, we may encounter:
- Giant river otters
- Caimans
- Monkeys
- Hoatzins
- Herons and other bird species
- Turtles
- A variety of Amazonian wildlife
We will return to the lodge to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
At night: Night walk to observe insects, amphibians, and other nocturnal wildlife.

Day 3 – Canopy Walkway, Zipline & Traditional Fishing
We will begin the day with an interpretive walk through the tropical rainforest, discovering the diverse flora and fauna that inhabit this extraordinary ecosystem.
The adventure continues with the Canopy Walkway, a system of suspended bridges high among the treetops, offering a unique perspective of the rainforest.
Then, get ready for an adrenaline-filled experience with an exciting zipline adventure, surrounded by the spectacular Amazonian landscape.
In the afternoon, we will enjoy a traditional Amazonian experience: artisanal fishing.
We will learn some of the fishing techniques traditionally used by local communities and have the opportunity to fish for species such as piranhas and catfish, depending on river conditions and the season.
Overnight at the lodge.
Day 4 – Kayaking, Local Community & Night Adventure
After breakfast, we will enjoy a kayaking excursion on the Madre de Dios River, taking in the Amazonian scenery from the water and experiencing the rainforest in a peaceful and immersive way.
We will then visit a local community, where we will learn about their customs, traditions, and way of life.
This will be a wonderful opportunity to interact with local residents and gain a more authentic insight into Amazonian culture.
As night falls, we will embark on a night excursion in search of caimans and other wildlife, using flashlights to explore the riverbanks and observe the nocturnal activity of the rainforest.

Day 5 – Final Amazon Views & Return to Puerto Maldonado
Breakfast at the lodge and some free time to enjoy the Amazonian surroundings one last time.
At the scheduled time, we will begin our return boat journey along the Madre de Dios River to Puerto Maldonado.
Upon arrival, transfer to the airport, bus station, or hotel, according to your travel arrangements.
