DAY 1: Arrival and Navigation on the Tambopata River
Arrive in Puerto Maldonado and transfer to the lodge by boat along the Tambopata River. During the journey, you’ll observe various species such as birds, caimans, and turtles. After settling in, you’ll go on a night walk to see animals like monkeys and frogs. Dinner and rest at the lodge.
DAY 2: Chuncho Clay Lick, Fishing, and Hiking
Early in the morning, we visit the Chuncho Clay Lick, where you can enjoy the spectacle of parrots, macaws, and parakeets. Then, you’ll fish at a waterfall and explore the jungle. In the evening, we take a boat ride to spot caimans. Return to the lodge to rest.
