We’ll begin our adventure with an exhilarating 4-hour boat ride down the Tambopata River, enjoying a boxed lunch along the way.
As you cruise the river, keep your camera ready—unusual birds and mammals such as capybaras and caimans often rest along the riverbanks. Upon arrival at the lodge, you’ll have time to relax and refresh.
Later, we’ll embark on a guided introductory walk through the jungle to learn about the local biodiversity and the story behind Amazon Nature.
As night falls, you’ll experience the unique sounds of the rainforest, with the option to join a night walk to discover insects, bats, and nocturnal mammals. Dinner will be served at the lodge. (Lunch, Dinner)
Day 2 – Macaw Clay Lick Magic & Nighttime Jungle Walk.
We’ll start early with a light breakfast, followed by a 40-minute boat ride upstream to the renowned “El Chuncho” Macaw Clay Lick.
If weather conditions are favorable, you’ll witness one of nature’s most mesmerizing spectacles: hundreds of parrots and macaws gathering to feast on mineral-rich clay.
A breathtaking landscape surrounds you as you walk along the river beach, searching for animal tracks. After a light snack, we’ll return to the lodge for a well-earned breakfast.
In the afternoon, enjoy some downtime or take part in thrilling activities like canopy walks or tree climbing.
Just minutes from our lodge are the “Cascadas del Gato” (Cat Waterfalls), a natural paradise where you can swim in a jungle jacuzzi. You may also join a fishing excursion on the river.
After lunch, we’ll head out on an ethnobotanical jungle hike to learn about medicinal plants used by local communities.
At night, we’ll embark on a thrilling river expedition in search of caimans. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 3 – Deep Jungle Exploration & Madre de Dios River Adventure.
After a delicious breakfast, we’ll set off on a 3-hour journey along the Madre de Dios River to reach a new jungle lodge.
Following a short rest, we’ll venture on a 2-hour hike deep into the heart of the rainforest. Your expert guide will
introduce you to towering trees over 500 years old and an astonishing array of wildlife, including birds, monkeys, and butterflies.
In the evening, we’ll explore the river again in search of caimans—watch for their glowing eyes in the darkness—and may encounter capybaras and other nocturnal creatures. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Day 4 – Sandoval Lake & Wildlife in the Tambopata National Reserve
After breakfast, we’ll cross to the other side of our eco-lodge to visit Monkey Island, a lush sanctuary where several species of monkeys swing freely through the trees. Watch these agile primates
leap from branch to branch — an unforgettable wildlife encounter.
Next, we’ll head into the heart of the Tambopata National Reserve. A scenic 5-kilometer trek through pristine rainforest will take us to the breathtaking Sandoval Lake, a mirror-like oxbow lake
surrounded by towering palm trees and dense jungle.
This protected lake teems with wildlife: colorful birds, playful monkeys, and slow-moving sloths are common sightings. With a bit of luck, you may even spot the elusive giant river otter or a rare
black caiman, one of the Amazon’s most endangered predators.
After a delicious Amazonian lunch, we’ll embark on a serene canoe ride across the lake, offering an intimate glimpse into the vibrant ecosystem. As the golden afternoon light bathes the forest,
we’ll make our way back to the lodge for a relaxing evening. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

pumping in a truly wild setting.
You’ll be guided at all times by a certified expert, ensuring your safety while maximizing excitement.
Later, we’ll explore the river in kayaks, gliding through gentle rapids and calm waters as we immerse ourselves in the
raw beauty of the Amazon. The day ends back at the lodge, where a well-earned dinner awaits. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
