From there, a boat ride across the Madre de Dios River awaits. This 45-minute tranquil journey offers the

Upon reaching the checkpoint of Lake Sandoval Reserve, we’ll complete registration before embarking on a 3 km

Day 1: Jungle, Monkey Island & Night Excursion

Arrival in Puerto Maldonado and boat ride along the Madre de Dios River to the ecolodge. We will take a guided jungle walk to observe monkeys, birds, butterflies, and Amazonian plants.

In the afternoon, we will visit Monkey Island to observe primates in their natural habitat. At night, we will take a wildlife excursion in search of caimans and, with some luck, capybaras.

Day 2: Lake Sandoval & Return to Puerto Maldonado
